Just under a year ago the Groves Memorial Community Hospital began its trek to raise $2 million to replace its CT Scanner.
The community rallied behind the hospital with 621 donours coming forward reaching $1 million from anonymous donours.
From fundraisers, walkathons and community events the $2 million total has been reached and work has already begun for a new CT Scanner at the hospital which is expected to be in place by this spring.
In a meantime. a mobile CT Unit has been put in place until the work is done.
