A donation of $500,000 has been made to the Groves Hospital Foundation.
In a release, the foundation says just as they are about to celebrate their 20th anniversary, its donations such as from Alex and Deb Beath who remind them why Groves is so important to the community.
The lifelong residents of Wellington County recently sold one of their businesses in Guelph and wanted to show their support to the community.
The donation will help go towards the purchase of nine items on the capital list for Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
-Ultrasound and PACS machines for the diagnostic imaging department
-Cardiac Ultrasound Probes
-Two wall mounted vital sign monitors
-Vital Sign monitors (day surgery)
-Cardiac monitor
-bladder scanner
-blanket warmer
