The Grove Hubs across Wellington County last month had partnered up with Linamar Corp to match donations to back to the Grove.
The donations were a big success which saw $200,000 be raised bringing the total to $400.000 be raised to support the youth mental health crisis across Guelph and Wellington County.
“We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s holiday fundraising campaign,” said Jeff Hoffman, Interim Executive Director of The Grove Hubs Wellington Guelph.
“The community rallied around this campaign, allowing for such a successful outcome. The donations made by community members, Linamar, and other supporting organizations will allow us to provide even more vital care needed to address the ongoing mental health crisis our local youth are facing.”
Donations we’re received by a list of individuals, local businesses and organizations including the Rotary Club of Fergus who donated $25,000.
