A group of women will take on the trek of the G2G Trail in a five day event to raise money for supporting women entrepreneurs and smallholder farmers in Ghana.
Twelve women will walk 125km starting in Guelph and hike across the trail which ends in Goderich with the goal of raising $100,000 to help 40,000 female business owners and small farmers.
$37,000 has been raised so far in support of the Mennonite Economic Development Associates work in Ghana.
The group will start the walk on May 11th at 8am in hopes to wrap up May 15th at 5pm.
