On June 17th at around 6:39pm, Grey Bruce OPP, West Grey Police Services, West Grey Fire department and Grey County EMS responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision.
The collision involved a motor vehicle as well as a motorcycle on Highway 6.
The motorcyclist was transported to the Durham Hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
Grey Bruce OPP arrested and charged the 62 year old accused from Utopia with several offenses including Operation while impaired with a blood alcohol level 80 plus and Operation causing two counts of death.
Grey Bruce OPP are continuing this investigation alongside the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
