Ahead of some coming rainfall, the Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a watershed condition statement.
A weather system is expected to move through the watershed starting today and last into Wednesday bringing above freezing temperatures and around 40-50mm of rain resulting in increased river flows.
While no significant flooding is expected river flows in local waterways will be higher than normal.
GRCA reservoirs are at their normal operating level for the time of year and will be operated to manage runoff and reduce downstream flooding.
