The Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a watershed condition statement with the winter storm in effect.
The current weather system crossing the watershed with around 30-40mm of mixed snow and rain expected which will see increased river flows over the watershed.
While no significant flooding is expected, river flows in local waterways will be higher than normal and increasing the risk in low lying areas.
While GRCA reservoirs will be used to reduce downstream flooding, river flows will stay elevated.
