With the turn of double digit afternoon highs, the Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a Water Safety message.
This comes with warmer temperatures arriving this week as well as more chances of rain later.
The snow pack has been melting across the watershed and with the melt and warmer temperatures this has led to increased water levels.
The public is reminded to be cautious and avoid bridges, dams and rivers as fast moving water can be dangerous.
