The Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for the Grand River watershed.
Above seasonal temperatures and up to 25mm of rainfall over the past week has resulted in significant snow melt and has elevated river flows across the Grand River watershed.
The GRCA’s major reservoirs have been used extensively during this event to help mitigate significant downstream flooding.
A flood warning is in effect for the Grand River from Elora to West Montose with Municipal Flood Coordinators in Centre Wellington to notify affected properties and to monitor conditions.
