The Grove Hub in Palmerston held their grand opening today. The facility is a collection of community partners including Minto Mental Health, the Municipality, the town of Minto and Wellington County. Minto and Mapleton are the main drivers behind the operational costs of the site.
This is in addition to the $460,000 provided by the County of Wellington along with numerous local partners and donors.
Melanie Therrien from the Grove says of the mandate of the Grove Hub in Palmerston.
“We are really just hoping to make this a spot for youth to feel comfortable, think of it as theirs, a one stop shop for mental health, substance use help, primary care, education, employment services.”
The Grove Hub in Palmerston is located at 390 Main Street East in Palmerston.
