Starting September 2026, grade 7 and 8 students from Listowel Eastdale Public School and North Perth Westfield will be moving to Listowel District Secondary School.
This comes as part of the conclusion of the North Perth Boundary Review project with the final motion adopted from the June 23rd board meeting on how to proceed with the boundary changes.
The Avon Maitland District School Board says with this change made, staff are moving to start a planning process which includes support transition for staff who will strike a transition committee to support students, staff and families navigate the shift as well as staff monitoring future development in the area to determine school boundaries for new growth and ensure the boundaries align with the space availability in local schools.
