Local pride shined as Drewholme Holsteins of Gowanstown received a master breeder shield. This is Drewholme’s first master breeder award.
Over 1200 tuned in virtually for Holstein Canada’s Master Breeder gala. Seven Ontario Holstein breeders were tagged and two joined the ranks by collecting their 4th award. Ronbeth of Hastings and Altona Lea of Blackstock join High Point Farm of Port Berry, all Ontario farmers, are the countries only four time master breeders.
Other Ontario farms picking up a master breeder shield are Melvin Martin’s Clayhaven of Wallenstein, Kloepfer Holdings Dualane of Ingersoll, Bloomfields Kuipercrest and Ferme Mirella St-Bernardin.
