As Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology continues to work providing a better internet connection for customers, the provincial and federal government is also contributing support.
Both governments are investing over $3.2 billion in partnership with SWIFT to provide over 600 homes, farms and businesses in rural areas, including Perth County to get a stronger online connection.
Certain projects have already been completed on the broadband networks needed to provide the service to residents.
