The Stratford Warriors, St Marys Lincolns and rest of the GOJHL and community is mourning the loss of 19 year old Carter Schoonderwoerd who passed away suddenly.
The Mitchell native split time between St Marys and Stratford during the 2019-2020 season where he had 3 goals in 5 playoff games with Stratford.
Schoonderwoerd was a prospect for the Peterborough Petes selected 203rd overall in 2018.
The cause of death is not known
