The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health is hosting a free online webinar aimed to supporting the health and well being of firefighters in rural communities.
With 71 per cent of firefighters across the country being volunteers, firefighters are proven backbones of the communities where they serve.
The webinar will be held next Tuesday from 12-1pm over Zoom on the Benefiting Rural Area Volunteer Emergency Firefighters project.
Speakers will include Dr. Mike Beazely, Associate Professor from the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy and Gateway CERH Research Assistants Neeliah Lewis and Meagan Tamming.
