Ontario is making changes to workers in long term care homes so long as they are fully vaccinated from COVID-19.
Fully immunized and asymptomatic staff, caregivers and visitors will be exempt from having to be tested for COVID-19 before entering a long-term care home.
In the update, the Ford government also says the updated guideline will also be in effect for retirement homes no longer needing to be tested before entering so long as they have been fully vaccinated.
