Mapleton is dishing out over $80,000 to help give the PMD Arena and fire halls in Drayton and Moorefield for fresh paint.
Coming in at a cost of $80,390 the cost for the fresh paint coats is still under the $90,000 set for the painting of the three buildings.
A report to council notes this is done to help refresh, give a modernized colour scheme which is overdue and should aid in the aging of the building exterior.
JK Industrial and Commercial Painting has taken on the project and is already underway.
