With a new school year, it also means the start of French Immersion programs which have kicked off in St Marys Catholic School in Listowel.
St Marys becomes the 3rd elementary school program to be developed with French immersion programming also seen in Stratford and Goderich.
The program includes daily practices of 120 minutes of French Literacy and 30 minutes of English Literacy.
French language instruction for science, health, social studies, dance, visual arts and more.
English instruction continues for math, religion and music.
