Perth County OPP have chanrged four with Drug Trafficking charges after an investigation and traffic stop in Perth East.
Officers assisted by the Huron-Perth Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop on Perth Line 34 in Perth East after a drug trafficking investigation that started in West Perth.
The three occupants were in possession of fentanyl, meth and heroin, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash. Total value of the drugs is estimated at $26,000.
Police also executed a search warrant at a St. David Street residence in Mitchell. One peson inside was arrested and police seized meth, psilocybin, two prohibited weapons and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A 23, 28 and 49 year old of West Perth and a 51 year old of St. Marys were charged with various offenses involving possession of a schedule substance with the 23 and 28 year old also charged with possession of a prohibited device or ammunition and the 28 year old three counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
All except the 23 year old of West Perth have been held in custody pending a bail hearing. The later is scheduled to appear in a Stratford court to answer to the charges.
