Former Wellington County councilor and warden Lynda White has made a $25,000 donation to Family and Children’s Services of Guelph and Wellington County.
White’s donation will help establish a new bursary program and support Wellington County youth who are pursuing post secondary education but struggle with the costs associated with it.
Family and Children’s Services is very grateful for Lynda White’s donation with the establishment of the Lynda White Scholarship Program for Wellington County Youth.
Applications are now being accepted from eligible youth who are heading to post secondary in the fall.
