Former Monroe Tenneco plant in Owen Sound to be home to future business park

This is the second property in the area that the Developer has purchased

There are new owners for a former plant in Owen Sound. The plan is to develop the property into a new business park for the city.

The same developer purchased the former PPG plant six years ago.

That building brought BWXT and BroTech to the area. They are Bruce Power suppliers which have created dozens of jobs in the area.

The building will be marketed to businesses looking to open up shop in the Owen Sound area. It’s much cheaper for a business to lease space as part of an existing structure than build it from scratch.

There will be a more information on what the 300,000 square foot property will have to offer once it’s ready for occupancy.
