The Ford government is planning on allowing restaurants to reopen at 50% capacity for indoor dining at the end of the month.
Various sources say the government is planning to slowly lift other public health restrictions in February.
Restrictions were brought back into place on January 5th which saw the closure of indoor dining, bars, gyms, theatres and more.
Premier Ford is set to speak later today.
There is no word on if this announcement of reopening restaurants will include gyms, indoor recreation or theatres.
