Wellington County businesses are being encouraged to get involved in the Guelph-Wellington Collective Food Rescue and Waste Diversion Pilot.

The project hopes to keep cutting down on food waste to help tackle the climate crisis.

Those who have already taken part in the project have already diverted 300 tonnes of food waste and cutting climate emissions equal to around 1000 cars off the road for a year.

Any business from Guelph to Arthur can join in with other businesses doing their part.

More information and joining the pilot can be found here.
