Given the increase cases in the H5N1 avian flu in bird flocks, cattle and some rare cases of human transmission, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is holding drop in flu vaccine clinics for those in the agriculture sector.
The flu vaccine can help reduce the chance of the avian influenza mixing with human based flu strains creating new viruses.
A clinic will be held on January 15th at the public health office in Fergus from 9am-12pm and another on January 16th at the Harriston Library from 10:30am-1:30pm.
