Five men are being recognized as heroes by OPP after saving a man from a burning vehicle off the highway in Mississauga.
The incident, as reported by OPP say a 36 year old experienced a medical episode with the vehicle swerving and smoke seen from the vehicle, eventually crashing into a ditch and was on fire.
Five men saw the incident and pulled over to rush to the driver and help them escape.
The men were able to break open the car door and pull the driver out to safety who did not sustain any injuries.
A 36 year old man from Toronto who experienced a medical episode is alive because of the heroic efforts of five men who risked their lives as the vehicle began to burn with the driver still inside.
