Five people are in hospital with two being seriously injured after a van collided with a buggy in Mapleton Thursday morning.
Wellington County OPP were called to the scene on the Eighth Line in Mapleton at around 8:15am.
The driver and two youths were taken to local hospital with two other youth airlifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
Both horses pulling the buggy were put down due to their injuries.
Eighth Line was closed for several hours for investigation but has since reopened.
