Five candidates have put their name forward to fill a vacant council seat in Perth South.
The seat became vacant after the passing of former Mayor Jim Aitcheson.
Deputy Mayor Sue Orr has taken on the roll as acting mayor with Robert Wilhelm becoming the Deputy Mayor.
A vacant seat declared by council on December 17th with a call for nominations then made.
Each candidate will make their presentations to council on February 4th with someone being elected at the February 18th meeting.
