The first Mayor of Mapleton, Carl Hall has died at the age of 87.
Hall passed away on December 31st with an obituary saying Hall had dedicated his life to farming and operating the family farm through his career.
He also served the community through politics as a councilor for Wellington County, Peel Township, Warden and the Mayor of Mapleton after amalgamation.
Hall was also a devoted member to the Alma Optimist Club and Alma United Church.
