The Chief Fire Officer for the Town of Hanover has lifted the fire ban on open-air burning and has permitted fireworks within the town boundaries.
The burn ban was put in place on June 7th due to very hot, dry conditions the area was experiencing.
The Fire Officer reminds residents that all open air burning in the town requires a burn permit.
They can be obtained online along with paying of the fee.
