All of Huron County is under a fire ban.
As of midnight, all of the areas of Huron County have banned open-air fires. There will be no permitted until further notice.
Campfires are permitted from noon to midnight only.
After that fires must be completely extinguished and you must follow municipal by-laws.
The fire ban was imposed due to the extreme dryness of all vegetation in the area and it is set to remain in effect until further notice.
No burn permits will be issued until the ban is lifted.
