The Stratford Fighting Irish have apologized for the actions of their founder, general manager and coach after an incident last weekend during an Elora Rocks game which resulted in the coach being charged with assault.
The Ontario Super Hockey League accepted the coaches resignation after the December 13th incident at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre.
The Fighting Irish say they are truly sorry for the uncertainty and concerning events the past week has caused.
