The Fight for Farmland group has once again been denied Freedom of Information Requests from the Region of Waterloo.

The latest deny comes a day after a deadline for response and follows from 21 previously rejected requests.

Alfred Lowrick with Fight for Farmland says they continue to be disappointed by the lack of transparency surrounding the proposed industrial mega site.

The province last week shared their disappointment in the process who cited a lack of transparency on the purchase of 770 acres in Wilmot to be used for future industrial use but the region has said specifically what the land would be used for.

Citizen rallies continue to be planned with another on August 26th at 5:30pm in Baden for the next Wilmot Township council meeting.
