It seems when it comes to urban planning for the revised downtown in Fergus, staff are in favour of embracing the bicycle.
The recommendation of including bike lanes in the rebuilt St. David Street North is up for discussion at the upcoming Committee of the Whole meeting this Monday.
From the feedback from residents on the report on the rebuild changes have been made to planned modifications including extra labelling on the road for things such as crosswalks and line painting on Garafraxa and St. David Street North.
The planned infrastructure work for downtown Fergus is expected to be completed by 2023.
