The United Way Perth-Huron is encouraging residents to bundle up and raise money for the upcoming 2nd annual Coldest Night of the Year walk in North Perth.
The family friendly winter fundraiser is in support of programs for people experiencing homelessness, hunger and hurt.
By walking the United Way says people will better understand the experience of being on the streets during a cold winter while raising funds to air in the United Way Perth-Huron’s local work.
The event is set for Saturday, February 26th and a virtual option is available to walk at any time, any distance during the month. All participants who raise over $150 or $75 for those under 18 receive a Coldest Night of the Year Toque.
