A traffic stop early this morning has resulted in an arrest and subsequent charges for a South Huron resident.
At approximately 3:12 am a Huron County OPP officer was patrolling the Town of Exeter when the officer stopped a vehicle on Andrew Street.
Upon checking on the driver the investigating officer determined the driver was failing to comply with a court ordered 11pm curfew. As a result the driver was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
A 28 year old male resident from South Huron has been charged with failure to comply with a release order – other than to attend court and failure to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order. A bail court appearance was scheduled for January 28th.
