Wellington County is now taking in applications for the 2025 Experimental Acres programme.
What first was a pilot in 2022, the program helps local farmers mitigate the risk of applying new regenerative agriculture practices.
Support from the program includes micro-grants, education, soil testing, networking, staff expertise and community building events.
Projects typically are in 3 categories including Crop and Planting, Animal and Grazing as well as Innovation. Applications will be accepted until January 19th.
