Erin is re-looking into having a retail cannabis shop in the town.
The town was one of three municipalities, including Centre Wellington and Mapleton who have chosen not to allow retail cannabis stores.
There is only one retail store in all of Wellington County in Arthur with more in the works in Rockwood and Mount Forest.
Council approved a report given and have directed staff to prepare a survey for the public to provide feedback on the matter.
