An Erin woman is $100,000 richer after claiming the top prize in an instant crossword tripler.
Deanna Mackay says she’s been a longtime lottery player, being a fan of Crossword and Bingo while also purchasing Lotto 6/49.
The 84 year old says he scratches her tickets in the evening before bed and when a friend went to the store to check her tickets, was told she’d have to go there herself and that’s when she discovered she had won $100,000.
The retired bookkeeper hasn’t made many big plans with her winnings, saying it’s really going to help.
The winning ticket was purchased at Erin Express Variety & Video on Main Street in Erin.
