Pending county council approval, Wellington County could be running in collaboration with Grey and Dufferin County’s on a new energy efficient resilient residential development program.
Grey County is launching the new voluntary program celebrating local leadership in this effort.
Grey County Council supported the program at a March 26th meeting with both Wellington and Dufferin County’s to yet approve it at their meeting.
The Green Development Program is expected to kick off this spring.
The program will focus on development projects of 10 or more units, though developments of any size can apply and includes three key components: metrics, recognition and capacity building.
