Enbridge Gas is supporting the Wellington North Fire Service to purchase firefighting training materials with Safe Community Project Assist.
The program with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council which supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in communities where Enbridge Gas operates.
This year’s $125,000 investment will be split with 25 Ontario Fire Departments including in Wellington North.
Since the launch of Safe Community Project Assist in 2012, 369 grants have been provided to Ontario Fire Departments for more firefighter training.
