Elora’s Mike Duhacek has conquered his 208km journey pulling a 200 pound sled from Owen Sound to Burlington all while collecting donations for cancer research.
Mike started his trip on February 4th from Georgian Bay who along his way was cheered on from residents in every small town stop he made as donations poured in support.
While more still comes in, this trek so far has brought in over $20,000.
This was the 2nd trip for Mike who in 2013 pulled over 125 pounds from Windsor to Ottawa.
Duhacek arrived in Burlington on February 10th to finish his trek.
