The Elora Lions were part of the founders of the Elora Skatepark. The Lions have provided funding and have also committed to further funding when it has been needed.
The Elora Lions are a community service club, made up of volunteers who are committed to the betterment of the community.
The Elora Lions have been part of many important events and helped with many projects including Bissell Park, The Elora Lions Santa Claus Parade, and Helping with GuideDogs.
For the project of the skatepark, the Elora Lions have fulfilled their commitment of $10,000.
Tomorrow, June 30th at 3:00pm, there will be a cheque presentation from the Elora Lions Club to the Township of Centre Wellington to go towards the Elora Skatepark.
The presentation will be held at the Elora Skatepark, located behind the community centre at 29 David St. W, Elora.
