While originally planned for May 1st, the Elora Farmers Market has had to push back their opening.
The farmers market will now open on May 22nd. Organizers announced the delay to support a safe start to the outdoors season.
In a release, officials say while farmers markets are considered an essential service to be open for only food vendors, the Elora Farmers market decided it was best to wait a few extra weeks as the province wide stay at home order continues.
The farmers market will operate from Bissel Park on East Mill Street.
The market will run every Saturday from 9am to 1pm until the end of October.
