With the municipal election taking place this fall, West Perth is inviting residents out who are considering taking a run later this year.
West Perth is partnering up with neighbouring municipalities to host Election Candidate Information sessions.
Led by experienced trainers from Clerks on Call, the sessions provide an overview of council roles and responsibilities, persona and financial considerations as well as the discussion of the newly brought in Strong Mayor Powers.
Two of these sessions will be held at the Pyramid Recreation Centre in St Marys and the Perth East Recreation Complex on February 25th from 6-9pm.
