The Avon Maitland District School Board was home to Ontario’s Minister of Education, Paul Calandra at Listowel Eastdale this past Tuesday.
The visit was part of his continued tour across the province to engage with school communities and explore local child care initiatives.
Minister Calandra was joined by Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae with a tour of the planned child care renovation project and a meet and greet.
The minister visited two classrooms at the school.
The board has sent their thanks the Minister Calandra for taking time to connect with students, staff and system leaders.
