The Economic Developers Council of Ontario announced the winners of their Excellence in Economic Development Initiatives and Leaders at the EDCO Awards last week.
Town of Minto Mayor George Bridge was awarded the Community Influencer of the Year Award. The category reflects the growing importance of positive influences within the economic development profession.
Those recognized are elected officials who are making a significant impact on their peers, the industry, their community and also are having an overall influence on economic development.
