On May 25th at around 6:30pm Stratford Police’s Street Crime Unit alongside the Criminal Investigation Division arrested three individuals on Shakespeare Street.
The three arrested were known to police and were identified as a 19 and 17 year old from London and 16 year old from Stratford.
Leading up to the arrest information was received the 17 year old was in possession of a firearm and also arrested wearing a black face mask.
The 19 year old had an outstanding warrant for Assault and Criminal Harassment.
The 17 year old was also found to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber handgun, a prohibited knife, four grams of fentanyl and a large amount of cash.
The 16 year old was released with no charges.
The 19-year-old was later released on an Undertaking and is required to attend court on
July 10, 2023.
The 17-year-old was charged with numerous weapons and drug related offences, as well as several breach of judicial release orders.
The 17-year- old was held in custody on these charges.
