Drivers caught Stunt Driving Now Face Mandatory Driver Improvement Course As Punishment

Punishment is on top of fines of up to $10,000, license suspension, jail sentences and demerit points.

Drivers that are caught stunt driving across the Province have a new penalty wait for them when they are stopped.

As of April 1st Ontario drivers caught driving 40 kilometers and above the posted speed limit on roads with limits less than 80 km or 50 km above for roads with roads with higher limits will need to complete a driver improvement course or their license will be cancelled.

The new penalty is on top of fines of up to $10,000, license suspension, jail sentences and demerit points.
