A 22 year old man is facing charges being being stopped by OPP in Wingham.
On September 22nd at around 10:40pm, police spotted a vehicle stopped near the intersection of Josephine Street and John Street East.
The officer found people outside the vehicle with suspected open alcohol.
The officer conducted a traffic stop to check on the sobriety of the driver when they registered a fail on a roadside screening device.
As a result the 22 year old of North Huron has been charged with operation while impaired.
The driver’s license was suspended for 90 days with their vehicle towed for 7 and given a future court date.
