Driver Flees from Police but Quickly Caught

 

A driver who fled from police didn’t get very far who brought in a rack of charges.

On October 2nd at around 3:30pm, a Wellington County OPP officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Third Line in Minto and while the driver initially stopped, they sped off and caused damage to the cruiser.

Officers were able to locate the driver a short distance away where he was arrested.

As a result the 33 year old of Palmerston has been charged with Dangerous Operation, Flight from Peace Officer, Driving While Under Suspension and Driving without Insurance.

The accused will appear in court on November 24th.
